Count Duckula -- a wacky British BBC cartoon originally shown on Nickelodeon in 1985.

(Also had a Count Duckula comic book series from Marvel. Nos. 1-15, 1988-90 and a Timex/Sinclair/Spectrum video game.)

Fun guy. Teenage vegetarian vampire (mistakenly weaned on catsup/ketchup rather than blood) travels through time and space in his teleporting mansion along with his wanna-be-evil butler Igor who speaks in a resigned monotone, and Nanny who speaks in a high, falsetto/shreak reminisent of the old ladies in Monty Python.

Spun off from an evil villian on DangerMouse, Count Duckula eventually got his own show where he was the good-guy. More sophisticated humor than DangerMouse.

DangerMouse Episode Guide: Danger Mouse, the greatest secret agent in the world, and his faithful side-kick Penfold, protect the world from such evil villains as Baron Silas Greenback, and the wily Count Duckula.
(Duckula appears in episodes B6, C5, D5, G4)
